Recent reconnaissance efforts by the Silver Hawks Irregulars and other FWLM forces have aimed to discover the distribution and readiness of AFFC assets in the Silver Hawks border regions. This effort has located a strategic stockpile on Phecda, where materiel can be quickly distributed anywhere along the local border.
The Phecda garrison is the mercenary regiment Harlock's Warriors. The Warriors are familiar to SAFE; until 3038, they were in the employ of the Free Worlds League, but were tempted over to the Lyrans during their buildup ahead of the War of 3039, and have remained with the Federated Commonwealth since. Harlock's Warriors are a medium battlemech regiment that relies on mobile tactics. Their skills are average and they lack any significant recovered tech penetration.
The high command does not want that stockpile of materiel on our border to be available to the AFFC, and would really prefer that we had it ourselves. The Falcons are being sent to Phecda to get it. 1st and 2nd Battalions will be assaulting other objectives elsewhere on the planet. You are to take 3rd Battalion and raid the supply depot, neutralize or drive off the defending detachment of Harlock's Warriors — estimated at two companies — seize as much of the materiel as possible, and destroy anything you have to leave behind.
You will be supplied with additional cargo transports, and your battalion headquarters lance will be using a Seeker rather than the usual Leopard, which will give you the transport capacity for the additional vehicles and captured materiel.
After you have secured as much materiel as you are able, you are to transport it to the Silver Hawks base of operations on Kalidasa, where you are to rest and refit and await further orders.
