Background
Since defeating the fools who dared to contest him,
assuming his rightful place as Mayor of Nova City (or "Lord", as he
demands to be styled), and bending the city council to his will through
sheer force of personality, Galasso has reduced funding for the conventional
emergency forces and relaxed ordinances regarding vigilantism and use of
dangerous superpowers, which has both encouraged superpowered criminals to
come to the city to exploit its vulnerability and encouraged superpowered
vigilantes to pick up the slack. As a result, Nova City is home to far more
superpowered individuals than any other city its size in the U.S., and the
accumulation of superhumans under his rule seems more important to Galasso
than trivialities like which side of the law they're on. Although he
sometimes seems confused about what exactly constitutes a
"superpower".
Lord Galasso has a wife, Pamela, about whom little is known, as she
avoids the public eye. She seems more in touch with reality than her
husband, and may be the power behind the throne. They have a beautiful and
barely-legal daughter, Conquest, despite Galasso's apparent complete
incomprehension of how things like daughters occur.
It is not clear whether "Galasso" is his first name, his last name, or
both.
