Complications

Modern God:: Elmer is not human; he's an anthropomorphic manifestation of the fundamental concept of gluing things together. As such, his understanding of human society and customs outside his purview is limited and sometimes odd.

Background

Elmer is one of the Modern Gods, arisen from the universal human subconscious, and powered by the tiny prayers of everyone who has ever tried to glue something. As such, he cannot be slain, so long as someone somewhere is still trying to get one thing to stick to another. If he is laid low, he will rise again within the day. He is timeless and ageless, but his current manifestation - a large white-furred man with the head of a bull - and his clear memories date back only to roughly 1947.
