CIV Thunderbolt

The CIV Thunderbolt is an old-fashioned muscle car, built with modern technology to a basic concept a century old. Though huge and heavy by 2060s standards, the Thunderbolt's enormous 7.0 liter V8 makes it also one of the fastest cars on the road. It corners poorly, and some lighter sports cars can beat it away from the line, but the base model can give almost anything a run for its money on the straightaway, and the supercharged SC model has a pretty fair claim to being the fastest car on the road. The Thunderbolt's electronics are equally old-fashioned, including only the bare minimum necessary to be street-legal. It lacks even an autonav, on the theory that you shouldn't be buying a muscle car in the first place if you don't want to drive it. This simplicity of design, along with the powerful engine, heavy chassis and bullet-resistant solid steel body, and roomy interior spaces make the Thunderbolt a prime candidate for modification for various shadow roles, and the relatively low price tag certainly doesn't hurt. The station wagon model provides even more room and load-carrying capacity, at the expense of some cool factor, and, while there isn't a supercharged wagon available from the factory, the models are similar enough that aftermarket installation of an SC's supercharger and scooped hood on a Thunderbolt wagon is a fairly simple task.
